The Alaska Alliance for Direct Service Careers is a statewide industry consortium and a member based association of long-term care and direct care providers whose funding is provided by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority.

Direct Service Careers provide quality support and care to infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness, chronic alcoholism or substance abuse issues, or Alzheimer's or related dementias. Careers are also available working with someone who has a brain injury, the elderly, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. The purpose of all Direct Service opportunities is to empower individuals and to help them live a healthy and happy life.
